ABOUT

Robert le Héros Art was born in 2019, in a painting studio in Rio de Janeiro, fueled by the desire to present a new poetic and colorful artistic work.

For 15 years, Laurent Gélis has lived between Paris and Rio.

He runs the Robert le Heros brand, a biased brand that illuminates our homes with unique color ranges and generous graphics.

In all his activities, the artistic approach is at the forefront. The idea of timelessness too.

He wants to show his love of Brazil, its different territories and the desire to share his emotions. He likes to notice the beauty in simple things.

Laurent Gelis offers a beautiful journey through a particular look that allows us to « see what we don’t see ».

The shots feed a graphic work composed of simple lines and colored masses.

He takes great care to construct color ranges identified during his long observation sessions. The choice is made from an inventory of colors collected through photos, samples of materials collected, and second-hand objects.

The viewer sensitive to images of Brazil can project himself as he wishes by discovering these radiant masses, these magical architectures, these poetic landscapes.

« By receiving the energy and strength of these paintings, everyone then takes the journey they want and it is for my greatest happiness »
